SmartVent Ventilation System
Proper attic ventilation is critical for a long-lasting roof! WeatherGard is one of the few contractors that uses the DCI SmartVent ventilation system, which is standard in our premium GardTech™ roofing system for homes without soffit vents. The SmartVent product provides the best attic ventilation available using a patented design that compensates for inadequate vent openings in the soffit that are common in most homes. SmartVent is designed to be installed along the soffit edge of the roof and goes virtually undetectable. It allows air to flow freely through the a 1-inch slit providing more than adequate soffit ventilation and making the ridge vent much more effective.
